Privacy
This website collects as little data as technically possible. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no third-party content and loads no external fonts. This policy covers the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), because the site is also accessed from the EU.

Hosting and server log files
The site is hosted on a server in Germany. With every request the web server automatically records what is technically necessary to deliver the page and to keep the server secure:
- anonymised or shortened IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of the request
- the file requested and the amount of data transferred
- referring page, where transmitted by the browser
- browser and operating system identifier
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and Art. 31(1) revFADP — the legitimate interest in operating the site securely and without fault. This data is not merged with other sources and is not used to identify individuals. Log files are deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless a specific security incident requires them to be kept longer.
No cookies, no tracking
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser's local storage. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no pixel, no A/B testing and no social media plug-in. Consequently there is no cookie banner — nothing requires consent.
Fonts and assets
All fonts, images and scripts are delivered from this server. No request is made to Google Fonts or any other content delivery network, so no data about you reaches a third party when the page loads.
Contacting me
This site has no contact form. If you write by e-mail or call, the data you provide — name, e-mail address, telephone number and the content of your message — is processed solely to handle your enquiry. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. Correspondence is deleted once the matter is settled and no statutory retention period applies.
Downloads
The CV and reference documents offered here are ordinary PDF files. Downloading them transmits nothing beyond the server log entry described above.
External links
The link to LinkedIn is a plain hyperlink, not an embed. No data is transmitted to LinkedIn until you actively follow the link. From that point the privacy policy of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company applies.
Encryption
The site is served exclusively over HTTPS with HSTS enabled. Requests over unencrypted HTTP are redirected.
Your rights
You have the right to information about the data held about you, to rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please use the contact details on the contact page.
You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the supervisory authority of your place of residence.
