Career history
Not a timeline. Since 2013 three strands have run alongside each other, distinguished by the nature of the relationship: salaried employment, mandates held, and companies founded. All three still carry weight today.

2019 – November 2022
Systems administrator

Permanent position in the Information Services department. Highlight project: rolling out a 3CX telephone system across five international sites in Germany, the USA and Canada.

Windows and Active Directory, VMware, Citrix XenApp, SharePoint, backup, networking and SIP telephony in a production environment.

End-to-end responsibility for IT strategy, enterprise architecture, cloud modernisation and security governance. Introduction of applied AI and GenAI use cases. IT governance following ISO 27001 principles and NIS2 readiness.
